ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Commerce Makhdoom Amin Fahim has expressed the belief of beginning golden era in trade relations between Pakistan and India.
Talking to VOA, he said that both the countries have made preparations to open bank branches in each other's countries and routes for the promotion of trade.
To a question, he said that business activities will soon be increased between the two countries and all the hurdles in this respect will be removed.
He said this will convey good intentions of the Governments of both the countries to the trade community.
He further said that doubts and suspicions of business community have reduced to large an extent. Now the business community believes that both the countries are determined to strengthen their trade relations, he added.
Talking about South Asian Free Trade Area, SAFTA , the Minister said that Pakistan wants to make it a viable and purposeful agreement and unnecessary long list of products will be reduced.
