PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Information and spokesman of the provincial government, Mian Iftikhar Hussain, has said that All Parties Conference (APC) has set new trend by bringing together political and military leadership on the same table sending clear message to the US that no compromise would be made on the sovereignty of the country.
Talking to APP here no Friday, Provincial Minister said that the unanimous approach adopted by the political and military leadership of the country in the APC was good for democracy and reflected aspirations of the masses.
He said that unity was need of the time in the current crises adding that we want good relationship on the basis of equality with all countries including United States of America.
In reply to a question, he said that we want elimination of terrorism in all its shades and manifestations in our country, neighbouring Afghanistan and in every nook and corner of the world.
Information Minister said that strained ties between Pakistan and US were not in favour of any country and the matter should be solved diplomatically.
He reiterated that both Pakistan and United States of America should opt for diplomacy to find viable solution to their problems as confrontation leads to destruction only.
