JAKARTA: Indonesia's finance ministry sold 6.51 trillion rupiah ($489.66 million) of Islamic bonds at an auction, above the indicative target of 4 trillion rupiah, its financing and risk management office said on Tuesday.
The weighted average yield of the six-month Islamic t-bill was 5.69528 percent, higher than 5.66336 percent at the last sale on May 3.
The project-based sukuk maturing in January 2018 had a weighted average yield of 7.31250 percent, lower than the previous figure of 7.40625 percent.
The weighted average yield at Tuesday's auction for the project-based sukuk maturing in September 2020 was 7.66915 percent, higher than the 7.66196 percent yield on May 3.
The weighted average yield for the project-based sukuk maturing in August 2023 was 8.00194 percent, higher than the 7.93570 percent at the last auction.
The project-based sukuk maturing in November 2031 had a weighted average yield of 8.19657 percent, higher than the previous auction's 8.15137 percent.
Total incoming bids on Tuesday were 14.51 trillion rupiah, higher than 13.24 trillion rupiah at the previous auction.
The highest bid-to-cover ratio was 5.63 for the project-based sukuk maturing in January 2018.
