Karachi braves shortage of 24 crore gallons of water

karachi_damKARACHI: Karachiites have so far braved a shortage of 24 crore gallons of water since the last three days because of power failure at Pipri Pumping Station for more than 48 hours, informed Managing Director KW&SB Misbahuddin on Tuesday while briefing SITE Association, DHA and top officials of Pipri Pumping Station regarding the situation.

He informed that areas that have been hit by the breakdown are DHA, Malir, PAF, Korangi Creek, Akhtar Colony, Qayyumabad, National Refinery, Landhi’s residential and industrial areas.
