LONDON: European carbon prices rose 6 percent on Thursday, buoyed by gains across the energy complex and a draft document suggesting Germany could seek to introduce a domestic minimum carbon price.
The Dec-16 contract traded at 6.50 euros a tonne, up 0.36 euro on Wednesday's close.
