Relief goods from Egypt to arrive next week
ISLAMABAD: Egypt would participate in relief efforts of the government of Pakistan to alleviate suffering of the victims and displaced persons caused by torrential rains.
This decision has been made following call of the President of Egypt and Pakistan Government, said a press release issued by Egyptian Embassy in Islamabad on Saturday.
Egypt is sending load of two cargo aircrafts comprising of needed relief material as specified by the National Disaster Management Authority. Relief goods also includes medicines to cope with the outbreak of diseases.
The aircraft carrying the first load of relief material is due to arrive Pakistan on Monday while second would land on Wednesday.
Egyptian Government and people are reaffirming their commitment to stand by the people of Pakistan.
They are taking active part in efforts to offset the outcome of such disaster, stemming from the brotherly relations that has always existed between the two nations and the commitment for mutual support in such difficult times.
