LIMA: Peru's central bank offered to sell dollars on Friday to pressure the sol to strengthen. The currency was bidding 0.1 percent stronger at 2.767 per US dollar.
The bank purchased $200 million on Thursday, liming the sol's losses to 0.43 percent despite a global sell-off.
