PARIS: Shares in Paris dropped more than five percent on Thursday with traders nervous on the global economic outlook and after a US Federal Reserve announcement on Wednesday fell flat.

At 1115 GMT, the CAC-40 index of leading shares shed 5.09 percent to 2,787.01 points.
