kptKARACHI: The three reconstructed berths of Karachi Port Trust (KPT) will be inaugurated at a ceremony here on Friday (Sept 23).

A senior official of KPT told APP on Thursday that the berths were reconstructed by a Korean firm Ssang Yong and added that work on two other berths also located at the East Wharf, will also be completed soon.

The work on the three berths was initiated in 2008 with an estimated cost of Rs 5.5 billion.
