IdengueSLAMABAD: Number of dengue patients has risen to 7,776 in Punjab, with 7,000 in Lahore alone.

According to the Punjab government, at least 110 new dengue cases have surfaced up, out of which approximately 974 are from Lahore, private news channel reported.

About 48 dengue patients have expired till now. According to the Punjab government, a committee led by the Punjab Medico-Legal Surgeon has been formed to confirm the casualties.

Apart from this, a separate committee comprising 36 experts has been set up to cope with dengue virus.
