karachi_waterGHARO: The water supply to Karachi was suspended last night at around 12.00p.m when the main supply line of old pumping station burst due to sudden power breakdown. Ten million gallon water is supplied daily to Karachi through this pipeline.

The officials of Karachi Water & Sewerage Board here said they are repairing the pipeline and water supply could only be restored after it. They said the motors have been shut to start repair of the pipeline.

The water supply to Gharo town has also been suspended.
