42 criminals held with drugs, weapons

MULTAN: The police arrested 42 lawbreakers, and recovered drugs,weapons from their possession here on Monday.

According to police sources, their teams conducted separate raids at various locations of the district and arrested six drug peddlers, four illegal weapon holders, recovered 115 litres liquor, 1100 grams Heroin,60 grams Hashish, three pistols, one revolver and bullets from their possession. The police also apprehended 21 proclaimed offenders wanted in different cases of dacoity, robbery, theft and other crimes.

The police arrested four gamblers, and four other outlaws for illegally refiling LPG. Three fireworks sellers were also apprehended by police.

Separate cases were registered against them.
