LONDON: Europe's main stock markets advanced in initial deals on Monday, with London's FTSE 100 index up 0.5 percent at 6,269.5 points.
Frankfurt's DAX 30 jumped 1.3 percent to 10,882.6 points and the CAC 40 in Paris won 0.8 percent compared with Friday's close to 4,751.15 soon after the open.
