LAHORE: Lahore Stock Exchange here Wednesday witnessed bearish trend by loosing 4.04 points, as the LSE Index-25 opened with 5539.36 points and closed at 5535.32 points.
The market's overall situation, however, slightly corresponded to an upward trend as it remained at 378,200 shares to close against previous turnover of 379,400 shares, showing an upward move of 12,00 shares.
While, out of the total 70 active scrips, eight moved up, seven shed values and 55 remained equal.
The Major Gainers of the day were Packages Limited, Sui Southern Gas Company Limiteda and Pace Pakistan Limited by recording increase in their per share value by Rs. 3.03, Re. 0.59 and Re 0.48.
Fauji Fertilizer Company Limited, Pakistan Telecommunication Limited and Lotte Chemical Pakistan Limited lost their per share value by Rs 1.30, Re 0.25 and Re 0.22 respectively.
Top three Volume Leaders of the day included Pace Pakistan Limited with 129,000 shares, Byco Petroleum Pakistan with 85,500 shares and The Bank of Punjab Limited with 70,500 shares.
