LAHORE: Lahore Stock Exchange here Monday witnessed bearish trend by loosing 1.96 points, as the LSE Index-25 opened with 5597.16 points and closed at 5595.20 points.
The market's overall situation, however, corresponded to slightly an upward trend as it remained at 660,100 shares to close against previous turnover of 653,300 shares, showing an upward move of 6,800 shares. While, out of the total 71 active scrips, 11 moved up, 10 shed values and 50 remained equal.
The Major Gainers of the day were Honda Atlas Cars (Pak) Limited, Glaxo Smith Kline Pakistan Limited and Maple Leaf Cement Factory by recording increase in their per share value by Rs 11.21, Rs 2.35 and Re 0.94.
Noon Sugar Mills Limited, Fauji Fertilizer Bin Qasim and Adamjee Insurance Company lost their per share value by Rs 2.46, Re 0.45 and Re 0.24 respectively.
Top three Volume Leaders of the day included Pace Pakistan Limited with 285,000 shares, Fauji Cement Company Limited with 104,500 shares and The Bank of Punjab Limited with 101,000 shares.
