LAHORE: Lahore Stock Exchange here Monday witnessed bearish trend by loosing 4.48 points, as the LSE Index-25 opened with 5605.67 points and closed at 5601.19 points.
The market's overall situation, however, corresponded to an upward trend as it remained at 819,700 shares to close against previous turnover of 226,100 shares, showing an upward move of 593,600 shares. While, out of the total 76 active scrips, only 8 moved up, 11 shed values and 57 remained equal.
The Major Gainers of the day were Ferozsons Laboratories Limited, Hascol Petroleum Limited and Engro Polymer and Chemicals Limited by recording increase in their per share value by Rs 40.20, Rs 5.59 and Re 0.31.
Pakistan Refinery Limited, Fauji Fertilizer Bin Qasim and Pakistan Telecommunication Limited lost their per share value by Rs 2.22, Re 0.24 and Re 0.24, respectively.
Top three Volume Leaders of the day included The Bank of Punjab Limited with 528,000 shares, Pervez Ahmed Securities Limited with 55,000 shares and Pakistan Telecommunication Limited with 40,000 shares.
