LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz leader Sardar Ayaz Sadiq on Tuesday said that results of NA-122 by-election had proved that no rigging was made in general election 2013 in the constituency.
Talking to media persons at his central secretariat Ichhra, he urged the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chief Imran Khan to work for development and prosperity of the country rather than pursuing his personal agenda.
He urged the PTI chief to come forward for putting the country on road to progress and prosperity, elimination of terrorism, steering the country out of darkness; utilization of foreign investment on national development and overcome energy crisis.
He said that people of the constituency had once again shown a complete confidence in the leadership of the PML-N, adding that he had not only contested elections against Aleem Khan but also PTI chairman Imran Khan, PML-Q and other parties who were supporting the PTI.
Imran Khan should shun the politics of sit-ins and protests which never produce any good for anyone.
He said that Imran should give up the use of indecent language, and politics of baseless allegations.
