LAHORE: Lahore Stock Exchange here Monday witnessed bearish trend by loosing 91.66 points, as the LSE Index-25 opened with 5588.02 points and closed at 5496.36 points.
The market's overall situation also did not correspond to an upward trend as it remained at 829,200 shares to close against previous turnover of 943,500 shares, showing a downward slide of 114,300 shares. While, out of the total 67 active scrips, only five moved up, 14 shed values and 48 remained equal.
The Major Gainers of the day were Service Industries Limited, Ferozsons Laboratories Limited and Hascol Petroleum Limited by recording increase in their per share value by Rs 14.88, Rs 12.82 and Rs 4.07.
Fauji Fertilizer Bin Qasim, Adamjee Insurance Company and Pakcem Limited lost their per share value by Rs 1.60, Rs 1.37 and Re 1.00 respectively.
Top three Volume Leaders of the day included Shakargang Limited with 401,000 shares, Pakcem Limited with 168,500 shares and Southern Electric Power Company Limited with 50,000 shares.
