LAHORE: Lahore Stock Exchange here Tuesday witnessed bearish trend by loosing 20.17 points, as the LSE Index-25 opened with 6299.46 points and closed at 6279.29 points.
The market's overall situation, however, corresponded to an upward trend as it remained at 2.579 million shares to close against previous turnover of 1.894 million shares, showing an upward move of 685,340 shares.
While, out of the total 98 active scrips, 28 moved up, 17 shed values and 54 remained equal.
The Major Gainer of the day was Muree Brewery Company, Akzo Nobel Pakistan Limited and Hascol Petroleum Limited by recording increase in their per share value by Rs. 35.00, Rs. 11.43 and Rs. 6.51 respectively.
Attock Refinery Limited, Engro Corporation Limited and Engro Fertilizers Limited lost their per share value by Rs. 3.51, Rs. 3.00 and Rs. 1.85 respectively.
Top three Volume Leaders of the day included Silk Bank Limited with 1.038 million shares, The Bank of Punjab Limited with 430,500 shares and NIB Bank Limited with 310,000 shares.
