Get ready for ‘Waar 2’ as ARY Films and Mind Works has announced the sequel of Pakistan’s highest grossing movie of all-time. ‘Waar 2’ is all set to go on-floor next month.
According to local media reports, writer-director of the film’s sequel, Dr Hassan Waqar Rana said, “We will shoot the first spell for the film in London by June-end, prior to the release of [our film] Yalghaar.” Rana also revealed that Shaan will reprise his role in ‘Waar 2’.
The rest of the cast of the movie is yet to decided, but the makers wants to sign experienced Pakistani actors like Humayon Saeed and Adnan Siddiqui to star in an upcoming sequel of ‘Waar’.
As per the reports so far, directors from both Pakistan and Hollywood will work together for this ventures. The movie will be shot exclusively in UK, Turkey, Russia, Yugoslavia and few portions in Pakistan.
Directed by Bilal Lashari and written and produced by Rana, ‘Waar’ became the highest grossing movie of Pakistan and has changed the face of Pakistani cinema.
The release date of ‘Waar 2’ is yet to be disclosed, but the movie will go on-floor next month.
