MTL announces 150 percent dividend

KARACHI: Millat Tractors Ltd (MTL) has posted a record profit after tax of Rs2.67 billion during the year ending June 30, 2011 and declared a final cash dividend of Rs15 per share.

According to the information reaching Karachi Stock Exchange here Tuesday, the pre-tax profit of the company surged to Rs3.914 billion during the period under review against Rs3.336 billion last year.

The earning per share climbed to Rs72.96 compared to Rs62.41 in the same period 2010.
