LONDON: Europe's main stock markets rose at the start of trading on Friday, with London's benchmark FTSE 100 index up 0.30 percent to 7,036.29 points.
Frankfurt's DAX 30 won 0.50 percent to 12,226.98 points and the CAC 40 in Paris climbed 0.29 percent to stand at 5,224.22 compared with Thursday's close.
