Unilever Food declares 500pc dividend

KARACHI: Unilever Pakistan Food Limited has posted a higher profit after tax of Rs 364.523 million for year ending June 30, 2011 and declared an interim cash dividend of Rs 50 per share.

According to financial results sent to Karachi Stock Exchange here Friday, the earning per share (EPS) jumped to Rs 59.20 compared to Rs 35.69 in the same period last year.

Pre-tax profit also soared to Rs 538.860 million for the period under review against Rs 330.311 in the corresponding period of 2010.
