ISLAMABAD: A solo exhibition displaying a total of 37 paintings by acclaimed artist Wahab Jaffer opened here on Friday at Tanzara Art Gallery.
The artwork consisted of acrylic on canvas, displayed in the show were bright, inventive and symbolic.
The artist had successfully captured the mood and attitude of the women on the canvas. His smooth lines, color coordination and balanced compositions rendered the image in a sharp and effective manner.
Jaffer is an artist of eminent stature who has been exhibited extensively at home and abroad.
His bold and adventurous style has a strong identity. His paintings exude a refreshing energy as he continues to simplify the female form and explore the richness of a full palette.
The exhibition will continue till March 28.
