Lahore Stock Exchange gains 4.76 points
LAHORE: The Lahore Stock Exchange gained 4.76 points on Thursday as the LSE-25 index opened with 2783.15 and closed at 2787.91 points.
The market's overall situation also corresponded to an upward trend as it remained at 2.519 million shares to close against the previous turnover of 2.151 million shares, showing a difference of 367,678 shares. While, out of the total 104 active scrips 21 moved up, 57 remained equal and 26 shed values.
Pakistan State Oil Limited, Engro Corporation Limited and Pakistan Oil Fields Limited were major gainers of the day by recording increase in their per share value by Rs10.75, Rs6.39 and Rs5.67 respectively.
Bata Pakistan Limited, Habib Bank Limited, and Oil and Gas Development Corporation Limited lost their per share value by Rs9.07, Rs5.80 and Rs4.33 respectively.
The volume leader of the day included NIB Bank Limited with turnover of 982,362 shares, The Bank of Punjab Limited with 315,719 shares and Lotte Pakistan PTA Limited with 201,024 shares.
