The Former Indian fast bowler Yograj Singh thinks that Dhoni did favoritism in selecting the Indian squad for World Cup. According to Yograj Singh, Dhoni didn’t really like his son so he closed the doors for him to enter the squad.
Yograj Singh claims that due to poor relations of Dhoni with Yuvraj Singh, he (Dhoni) chose Ravindra Jadeja instead of his son. He said, “If he (Dhoni) is having issues with my son, I really can’t do anything. I think, the almighty will do justice,” Indian media reported.
Yuvraj’s father still hopes that under the captaincy of Dhoni India should win this tournament. He said, “I pray that India win the World Cup under Dhoni’s captaincy, but it’s sad that you behaved this way with Yuvi”.
However, on the other hand Yuvraj Singh wants to keep himself away from all the comments that his father has made. Yuvraj took to Twitter to clear all the rumours about his sour relationship with current Indian captain MS Dhoni.
He tweeted, “Like every parent my dad is also passionate and I am sure got carried away, always enjoyed playing under Mahi and would do so in future”.
