Cotton prices increase in local markets

cottonISLAMABAD: The price of cotton has increased across the country and in recent days the price of 40 kilos of cotton has increased by Rs 400 and is currently Rs 5,900 in Punjab.

Over in Sindh, the price has increased by Rs 200 and is currently Rs 5,600 per 40 kilos, private news channel reported.

In the last ten days the price of cotton has risen by Rs 1,000 per 40 kilos.

Cotton sales have increased in the country due to better quality being produced.
