ISE-10 index stays bearish

ISLAMABAD: Islamabad Stock Exchange here on Friday witnessed bearish trend as the ISE-10 index was down by 23.85 points and closed at 3930.62 points.

A total of 65,300 shares were traded, which were down by 550,200 shares when it compared with previous day's trading of 615,500 shares.

Out of 162 companies, share prices of 73 companies recorded increase while share prices of 89 companies registered decrease where as one company remained stable in trading.

The share price of Atlas Battery increased by Rs 44.31 per share while the share prices of Akzo Nobel Pakistan decreased by Rs 22.28 per share.

K-Electric, Lotte Chemicals and PSO remained the top trading companies in Friday's trading with 30,000, 30,000 and 3,000 shares respectively
