LAHORE: Lahore Stock Exchange here Monday witnessed bearsh trend by losing 27.74 points, as the LSE Index-25 opened with 6072.91 points and closed at 6045.17 points.
The market's overall situation, however, corresponded to an upward trend as it remained at 2.149 million shares to close against previous turnover of 1.213 million shares, showing an upward move of 936,420 shares. While, out of the total 114 active scrips 17 moved up, 24 shed values and 73 remained equal.
The Major Gainers of the day were Ferozsons Laboratories Limited, Engro Fertilizers Limited and Pak Elektron Limited by recording increase in their per share value by Rs 16.46, Rs 2.02 and Rs 1.90 respectively.
Mitchells Fruit Farms Limited, Gatron (Industries) Limited and Oil & Gas Development Company Limited lost their per share value by Rs 8.34, Rs 7.00 and Rs 2.83 respectively.
Top three Volume Leaders of the day included Japan Power Generation Limited with 525,000 shares, Southern Electric Power with 511,500 shares and The Bank of Punjab Limited with 415,500 shares.
