ISE-10 index stays bearish

ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad Stock Exchange (ISE) on Monday witnessed bearish trend as the ISE-10 index was down by 30.74 points to close at 3971.39 points.

A total of 398,950 shares were traded, which showed a positive growth of 246,350 shares, when compared with previous day's trading of 152,600 shares.

Out of 144 companies, share prices of 51 companies recorded increase while those of 93 companies decreased and no company remained stable in today's trading.

The share price of Mitchells Fruit Farma increased by Rs 35.86 while that of Siemens Pakistan Engineering decreased by Rs 34.58 per share.

Bank of Punjab, PIA and Lafrage Pakistan remained the top trading companies with 319,500, 73,000 and 5000 shares respectively.
