ISTANBUL: Turkey posted a cash surplus of 3.24 billion lira ($1.43 billion) in November and a primary cash surplus of 6.53 billion lira, treasury data showed on Friday.
In the first 11 months, the cash deficit was 10.88 billion lira and the primary surplus was 28.37 billion lira.
In 2013 as a whole, the cash deficit was 12.37 billion lira and the primary cash surplus was 24.34 billion lira.
The cash budget measures the money the treasury actually receives and pays out in the month.
The primary balance excludes interest payments.
