ISE-10 index stays Bearish

ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad Stock Exchange (ISE) on Monday witnessed bearish trend as the ISE-10 index was up by 20.54 points to close at 4156.15 points.

A total of 110,095 shares were traded, which showed a negative growth of 146,500 shares, when compared with previous day's trading of 36,405 shares.

Out of 158 companies, share prices of 47 companies recorded increase while those of 111 companies decreased and no company remained stable in today's trading.

The share price of Murree Brewery increased by Rs 23.32 while that of Pakistan Tobacco decreased by Rs 47.17 per share.

PIA, Bank of Punjab, Fauji Cement remained the top trading companies with 60,000 and 45,000, 25,000 shares respectively.
