ISE-10 index stays bearish

ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad Stock Exchange(ISE) on Tuesday witnessed bearish trend as the ISE-10 index was down by 40.94 points to close at 4407.7 points.

A total of 48,200 shares were traded, which showed a positive growth of 45,700 shares, when compared with previous day's trading of 2500 shares.

Out of 124 companies, share prices of 29 companies recorded increase while those of 93 companies decreased and 2 companies remained stable in today's trading.

The share price of Sanofi Aventis Pakistan increased by Rs 35 while that of Siemens Engineering decreased by Rs 28.67 per share.

Fauji Fertilizer Company, Pakistan Petroleum and Lafrage Pakistan Cement remained the top trading companies with 21,000, 10,300 and 10,000 shares respectively.
