KARACHI: Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah has announced to distribute wheat free of cost among the affectees of drought in Tharparkar and Achhro Thar.
Sindh Government has taken this step in compliance with the decision of the provincial cabinet's meeting presided over by Patron-in-Chief of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and PPP Co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari here at the Bilawal House on Sunday, said an official statement here on Monday.
The Chief Minister said that for distributing wheat among the affectees centres have been established in different areas of Tharparkar and Achhro Thar.
He directed the Commissioner Mirpurkhas, Deputy Commissioner Tharparkar and other concerned officials to immediately gather information/ data about the affected families and distribute wheat free of cost among them without any delay.
