multan-blastMULTAN: There were no deaths in a bomb blast in Multan Sunday, a police official said, correcting an earlier report, and said three policemen were wounded.

"The bomb explosion targeting a police check-post wounded three police officers," Multan city police chief Aamir Zulfiqar said, correcting his earlier statement that the three had been killed.

"It seems that the bomb was planted on a motorbike parked close to the police post," he added.
