BRUSSELS: French President Nicolas Sarkozy said on Friday that France would bring home hundreds of soldiers from Afghanistan between now and the end of 2012, as Paris followed Washington's lead with an early withdrawal.
France said on Thursday it would bring some of its 4,000-strong troop contingent home early without giving details on numbers.
