heritageISLAMABAD: Pakistan National Council of the Arts (PNCA) and Pakistan National Commission for UNESCO will hold a training workshop on ‘Safeguarding Intangible Culture Heritage of Pakistan' here Saturday.

The workshop is the 2nd phase of the training that focuses on assisting the State Party in preparation of Urgent Safeguarding List and Representative List of Intangible Cultural Heritage.

Training sessions will be followed by the distribution of certificates to the participants while the training will be held at National Art Gallery.

The workshop focuses on understanding the 2003 convention, data collection and inventorying of Intangible Cultural Heritage and use of Geographic Information System in mapping of intangible cultural heritage.
