DUBLIN: Ireland's central bank has fined MBNA Europe Bank 750,000 euros ($1 million)for overcharging 373,000 credit card customers nearly 17 million euros between July 2007 and October 2009, the monetary authority said on Thursday. The central bank said the company had reported the mistakes in a timely manner and had repaid those affected customers. It said the matter was now closed.
