MOSCOW: Russia's Rosneft may eventually take a majority stake in North Atlantic Drilling , a subsidiary of Norway's Seadrill, and not in Seadrill itself, the company said on Monday.
On Saturday Rosneft boss Igor Sechin told the Rossiya 24 TV channel his firm could take a stake of up to 50 percent in Seadrill over time. "It was a slip in speaking," a Rosneft spokesman told Reuters on Monday.
