KARACHI: The total liquid foreign reserves of the country figure $ 11.74007 billion, said State Bank of Pakistan.
According to SBP's weekly statement here on Thursday, the foreign reserves held by State Bank on April 25 amounted $ 7.04105 billion. Net foreign reserves held by banks were
$ 4.69902 billion.
During the week, SBP's liquid forex exchange reserves increased by $ 32 million to $ 7,042 million compared to $ 7,010 million in the previous week. The increase in the Central Bank's reserves is primarily attributed to inflow of $ 50 million from multilateral and bilateral sources.
No major official outflow was observed during the week ending April 25, 2014.
