'Uth Futura' service not available in all sectors of federal capital

Ufone_Head_OfficeISLAMABAD: Cellular company Ufone is reportedly unable to provide its much-advertised mobile sets with the built-in 3G Evo modem titled "Uth Futura" for some sectors of the federal capital.

A number of customers seemed disappointed as they could not get the mobile set for which they visited Ufone offices after seeing advertisements in newspapers, TV channels and banners on different roads of the city.

On visiting the Ufone head office in F-7 Markaz to acquire the mobile set an official behind the counter informed that the chip attached in the mobile set will not receive signals in the G-11 and G-7 sectors as the company was still expanding its coverage.

He failed to assign any reason for not including both the sectors of the capital city in the area of operation of the company for provision of the latest technology.
