ISE-10 index witnessed bearish trend

ISLAMABAD: Islamabad Stock Exchange witnessed bearish trend here on Wednesday as the ISE-10 index was down by 19.86 points and closed at 4442.96 points.

A total of 142,000 shares were traded, which were down by 366,669 shares when compared with previous day's trading of 508,669 shares.

Out of 151 companies, share prices of 48 companies recorded increase while share prices of 103 companies registered decrease where as no company remained stable in today's trading.

The share price of Pakistan Tobacco increased by Rs. 34.6 per share while the share prices of Sanofi Aventis Pakistan decreased by Rs. 33 per share.

P.I.A and United Bank remained the top trading companies in Wednesday's trading with 140,000 and 2,000 shares respectively.
