ISLAMABAD: Islamabad Stock Exchange witnessed bearish trend here on Wednesday as the ISE-10 index was down by 60.44 points and closed at 4,693.76 points.
A total of 203,100 shares were traded, which were down by 15,900 shares when it compared with previous day's trading of 219,000 shares.
Out of 165 companies, share prices of 101 companies recorded increase while share prices of 64 companies registered decrease where as one company remained stable in today's trading.
The share price of Sanofi Aventis increased by Rs. 40.20 per share while the share prices of Simens Pakistan Engineering decreased by Rs. 71.50 per share.
Lotte Chemicals, Bank of Punjab and Byco Petroleum remained the top trading companies in Wednesday's trading with 71,000, 70,000 and 40,000 shares respectively.
