rehman ibadKARACHI: The Minister for Interior, A. Rehman Malik, on Monday called on Sindh Chief Minister, Syed Qasim Ali Shah, at the CM House here.

An official statement said that they discussed the issues pertaining to law and order in the province particularly in the city of Karachi.

The two leaders also discussed the ways and means to curb the activities of criminals, terrorists and anti-state elements.

They also expressed satisfaction over the performance of law enforcement agencies particularly the police and rangers etc.

It was decided that prompt care, vigilance and stern measures will be adopted to deal with the situation for maintenance of peaceful atmosphere so as to protect the lives and properties of the people.
