JUI-F joins fed govt, Akram Durrani appointed as federal minister

ISLAMABAD: The JUI-F of Maulana Fazlur Rehman has formally joined the federal government as on the advice of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, the president has approved the appointment of Akram Khan Durrani, MNA, as federal minister.

Earlier, Maulana Fazlur Rehman called on the prime minister at the Prime Minister House on Thursday and requested for making Akram Khan Durrani as a federal minister.

Durrani remained chief minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa during the MMA government. He is considered as the most trusted and close parliamentarian of JUI-F to Maulana Fazlur Rehman.
