OSLO: Statoil's gas output will increase by 3.9 million cubic metres (mcm) per day overall on Saturday, the firm said, having earlier said on its website that output would be cut by 8.5 mcm per day.
Late on Friday, it said its gas output would increase by 12.4 mcm per day on Saturday.
Statoil is western Europe's top gas producer.
