KARACHI: Crackdown is continuing in the metropolis against the profiteers, says a statement on Monday.
Commissioner Karachi, Shoaib Siddiqui, said that on Sunday 275 shopkeepers were challaned and a fine of Rs. 262,500 was imposed for profiteering.
He said that the crackdown to this effect would continue till the commodities are sold to the people at the government-determined price lists of the items of daily use.
