LAHORE: Lahore Stock Exchange on Monday witnessed a slight bullish trend by gaining 0.58 points as the LSE-25 Index opened with 5031.12 and closed at 5031.70 points.
The market's overall situation also corresponded to an upward trend as it remained at 6.351 million shares to close against previous turnover of 3.243 million shares, showing an upward move of 3.160 million shares. While, out of the total 98 active scrips, 30 moved up, 44 remained equal with 24 shed values.
Pakistan State Oil Company Limited, Highnoon Laboratories Limited and Engro Corporation Limited were major gainers of the day by recording increase in their per share value by Rs 16, Rs 6.08 and Rs 4.91 respectively.
National Foods Limited, Adamjee Insurance Company Limited and Engro Foods Limited lost their per share value by Rs 7.21, Rs 2.90 and Rs 2.44 respectively.
The volume leader of the day included The Bank of Punjab Limited with 1.962 million shares, Fauji Cement Company Limited with 1.051 million shares and Lafarge Pakistan Cement with 879,000 shares.
