RAWALPINDI: The birth anniversary of former premier and late Pakistan People's Party chairperson, Benazir Bhutto, will be observed on Friday at Laiquat Bagh.
Opposition Leader in the National Assembly Syed Khurshid Shah will be the chief guest and the Quran Khawani and Fateha will also be offered.
Among others, former Bait-ul-Mal Managing Director Zamurd Khan, Member Central Excutive Committee Qazi Sultan Mehmood, City President Amir Fida Piracha, and a large number of PPP workers will be present on the occasion.
Besides recitation of verses from the holy Quran special prayers will be offered for eternal peace of the departed soul who was assassinated in Rawapindi on December 27, 2007 after addressing to a mammoth public meeting.
