LAHORE: The Lahore Stock Exchange on Wednesday witnessed bullish trend by gaining 0.43 points as the LSE-25 Index opened with 4526.24 and closed at 4526.67 points.
The market's overall situation also corresponded to an upward trend as it remained at 13.257 million shares to close against previous turnover of 6.410 million shares, showing an upward move of 6.846 million shares. While, out of the total 107 active scrips, 39 moved up, 49 remained equal with 19 shed values.
Engro Foods Limited, Adamjee Insurance Company and Nishat Mills Limited were major gainers of the day by recording increase in their per share value by Rs 7.36, Rs 2.30 and Rs 1.62 respectively.
Pakistan Petroleum Limited, Muslim Commercial Bank Limited and Lucky Cement Limited lost their per share value by Rs 3.01, Rs 2.29 and Rs 2.05 respectively.
The Volume Leader of the day included The Bank of Punjab (R) with 4.412 million shares, The Bank of Punjab Limited with 2.205 million shares and Dewan Salman Fibre Limited with 1.722 million shares.
